THE IRISH TRIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIP RACE 2008
The Irish Olympic Distance Championships are coming to Athy!
TriAthy steps up it’s status one more notch with this unprecedented achievement, making it even more a race of choice for the elites.
We are honoured that the quality of TriAthy has been fully recognised and that we have been selected to host these prestigious championships. The superior quality of the race is reflected by the quality of triathletes who are attracted to the event.

Spencer is one of the best known figures in the sport of triathlon. Throughout the 1990s Spencer was the dominant force becoming World Champion on three occasions, European Champion twice and a four time British Champion - a phenomenal world-class record which has made Spencer a living legend in the sport. We are delighted to welcome Spencer to TriAthy 2008.
