TriAthy 2008 has been given a major boost with an announcement that the Dooley Group are to become this years main sponsor. Gabriel Dooley, Chairman and Managing Director of the Dooley Group of franchised estate agent offices, said that as a native of Athy he was especially pleased to announce his company is the main sponsor for this year’s event.
“At a time when we are growing our own business across the country, we are delighted to be associated with a sporting event which is also growing at a rapid rate,” he says. Purchased by the Dooley Group in 2005 and currently undergoing restoration to its roof, historic White Castle will take on a new role by serving key focal point for TriAthy thanks to both its waterside location guarding the town’s main bridge over the River Barrow.
